According to UNESCO, more than 617 million, or one half of all children and adolescents worldwide are not achieving minimum proficiency levels in reading and mathematics, signaling a learning crisis that could threaten progress on the Sustainable Development Goals developed by the UN. This discussion, with insights from panelists from Opportunity International and the Accion Venture Lab, will address the current state of education and how impact capital and the niche-focused education finance sector is being used as a catalyst for change globally.
